个人简介
Significant experience earned on several R&D areas in Telecom:
- Extensive work on research topics in broadband cellular systems (4G/5G cellular networks and beyond): Radio network planning and optimization, radio resource management, self organizing networks (SON), cooperative communications and video streaming, green communications and heterogeneous networks.
- Investigation of broadband connectivity as an enabler for several interesting applications: Clustering and resource management for vehicular and railroad networks, energy efficiency and resource allocation for machine-to-machine (M2M) communications and sensor networks, device-to-device (D2D) communications and public safety networks, in addition to evaluating quality of service (QoS) and quality of experience (QoE) metrics for these scenarios, particularly for wireless video streaming.
- Leading/Co-Leading and Managing several multinational collaborative research projects related to the above topics.
- Other research areas: signal and image processing, antenna theory, bioinformatics, smart grid communications, in addition to air quality monitoring and data analysis.
- More than 150 publications
