I am interested on how agricultural production systems will evolve in response to changes in climate, societal values and the availability of resources at regional and global scales. We use detailed field datasets to develop systems models that quantitatively represent crop and soil responses to different environments, genotypes and managements. Through the combination of data and models we aim to gain insights on how to improve the efficiency and sustainability of current and future agricultural systems.
