Evgeny A. Gurnevich was born in Minsk, Belarus, in 1986. He received the master’s degree in physics from Belarusian State University, Minsk, in 2009, where he is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree with the Department of Nuclear Physics. He has been a Junior Researcher with the Laboratory of High-Current Electronics, Research Institute for Nuclear Problems, Belarusian State University, since 2008. His current research interests include relativistic electron beams, coherent sources of intense microwave pulses, free electron lasers, and dynamical diffraction theory.
