Ding Liang

Ding Liang received the B.S.E.E. degree in electronics and information system from Wuhan University, Wuhan, China, in 2002, the M.S.E.E. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Washington, Seattle, WA, USA, in 2008 and 2009, respectively. From 2005 to 2009, she was a Research Assistant with the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Washington, where she was involved in theoretical modeling and numerical simulation of electromagnetic wave propagation and scattering in random media with application to passive and active microwave remote sensing of terrestrial snow and rough surface. Since 2009, she has been focusing on satellite calibration and validation algorithm development, satellite performance monitoring and evaluation with the Center for Satellite Applications and Research (STAR), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), College Park, MD, USA.
