Dimitrios Zorbas (Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in computer science from the University of Piraeus, Greece. He has worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Inria Lille–Nord Europe and the University of La Rochelle, France. He was also a Researcher with the Tyndall National Institute, University College Cork, Ireland. He is currently an Assistant Professor with Nazarbayev University, Kazakhstan. He is the author of more than 50 peer-reviewed publications in the areas of wireless communications and distributed computing. He has worked in several national, and FP7 and H2020 projects. He received the Marie Curie Fellowship.
