Bio
My PhD focuses on the impact of acute exercise on immune cell metabolism. By investigating human immune cells ex vivo we aim to shed light on the interconnection of cellular bioenergetics and exercise-induced immune cell activation. Over the years I have developed a particular interest in the molecular mechanisms underlying exercise-mediated health effects.
