David Sanan received the Ph.D. degree in software engineering and artificial intelligent from the University of Malaga, Spain. In 2015, he joined Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, where he is currently working as a Senior Research Fellow. His interest research includes formal methods, and in particular the verification of software. In the past, he has worked on the development of techniques for the verification of software using model checking. His research interest focusses on formal methods applied to the security of critical systems. His work includes among others the formalization and verification of separation micro-kernels aiming multi-core architectures, block-chain verification, program semantics, and memory models.
