个人简介
David Ricketts is an Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University. He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and the Ph. D. degree in electrical engineering from Harvard University.
David worked in industry from 1995 to 2003, developing over 40 integrated circuits in mixed-signal, RF, and power management applications. As a PhD student at Harvard (2003 ~ 2006), he developed a range of novel circuit topologies, including a new nonlinear wave based oscillator (electrial soliton oscillator) that was featured in Nature's New and Veiws (2006) and was selected for the 2008 McGraw Hill Yearbook of Science and Engineering. In addition, he helped develop the fastest SiGe nanowire ring oscillator on glass in collaboration with the Lieber group wich was published in Nature (2005). His current research interests include ultra-fast RF integrated circuits and devices, soliton electronics, nanoscale electronics, and quantum devices.
David was awarded the Analog Devices Fellowship at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, was a 2004 Innovation Fellow at Harvard University, and was awarded the Analog Devices Outstanding Student Designer Award in 2006.
