He develops data analysis, model-classification, signal processing, asymptotics of partial differential equations, physical models, computational methods and numerical simulations. In the past, his group has developed several theories such as Narrow escape theory, electrodiffusion distribution, redundancy principles,etc..
Applications are analysis of single particle trajectories, nuclear organization, molecular synaptic organization or neuronal and organelle networks. Recent methods are applied to extract features from Super-resolution data, EEG signal, voltage sensitive dyes in neurons and glial cells.
