个人简介
I am interested in understanding the physical and mechanochemical mechanisms of cancer cancer metastasis. In particular, I am interested in studying how the environment and cell-ECM mechanical interactions controls cell motility and the invasion capability of cells. To this aim, I am combining nanotechnology with cell biology tools to design novel assays based on organ-on-a-chip technology reproducing fundamental aspects of the native scenario. Finally, I am aiming to have a complete understanding of the system, and for this purpose, I am actively collaborating with biologists and theoreticians.
