个人简介
I am a scientist in the field of haptics and human-robot interaction, and interested in understanding how humans control their own body and use it to control or interact with robotic tools or vehicles. My research goal is to use this fundamental knowledge to design and evaluate mechatronic systems that become true extensions of our body, and as easy to co-operate with as with a well-trained horse. Some concrete applications I've worked on include intelligent vehicles and (remotely controlled) robotic arms. Recently I have also become interested how to engineer adaptive interaction that incorporates behavioural adaptation models, and an interdisciplinary perspective on human-robot work in order to shape design choices for robotic systems that benefit meaningful and productive work - for individuals, teams, organisations and society.
