Consultant to a range of national and international organisations both in the UK and abroad, specialising in the design, implementation and validation of assessment procedures and personnel selection systems at all levels.
Advisor to a range of UK government bodies on occupational assessment including the Cabinet Office's external auditor and advisor.
Past President of the International Test Commission (ITC) and led two ITC projects: one on International Guidelines for Test Use and the other on Guidelines for Computer-based Testing and the Internet. Currently ITC Treasurer.
Past chair of the BPS Steering Committee on Test Standards (SCTS) and past-Convener of the EFPA Standing Committee on Tests and Testing and Board of Assessment.
Responsible for the production of the European Test Review criteria and the European Test User standards and Assessment Standards for the EFPA Board.
Architect of the BPS Psychological Testing Centre and the competence-based test user qualification system in the UK.
