Darshana Upadhyay

Darshana Upadhyay is currently a Postdoctoral fellow/ research Scientist at Cistel Technology, under the supervision of Dr. Sampalli and Dr. Zaman. She completed her Ph.D. in the Faculty of Computer Science at Dalhousie University. Prior to her Ph.D., she obtained a master's degree in computer science from Nirma University, Ahmedabad, India, where she also worked as an Assistant Professor. Darshana's research primarily focuses on algorithm conceptualization and hardware design in the field of embedded systems, vulnerability assessments, and intrusion detection techniques for IoT/SCADA-based systems. Her master's thesis involved a novel project on designing secure systems using linear feedback shift registers. Notably, she was awarded the Indo-Canadian Shastri research grant for her contributions to wireless security and intrusion detection systems.
