He is a vice-chair of Zhejiang Extra-High Voltage Technology Committee, a member of Zhejiang Renewable Energy Technology Committee. Prof. Daozhuo Jiang’s research interest focuses on FACTs devices, HVDC, and PMU measurement. In the past 20+ years, Prof. Jiang has conducted numerous research projects for industry and government, many of his research achievements have been certificated by the State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC) and are being deployed in the industry. Prof. Jiang holds 7 issued Chinese patents in HVDC, FACTS, and solid-state breakers. He is the member of Power Systems Committee, Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering (CSEE) and the member of Rural Power Systems Committee, CSEE.

Developing a six-phase 12-pulse current source based “90MW/5000A DC-de-icing/SVC device”, which currently is in practical operation in a 500kV substation in Zhejiang power grid.
Developing a 10kv/500A solid state current limiter(SSFCL)in which 6 Chinese patents are obtained and over 20 technical papers are published.
Developing a wide-area phasor measurement unit (PMU) with high precision and flexible time-clock control function in which 2 Chinese patents are obtained, and 10 technical papers are published.
