Daniela Uberti

Daniela L. Uberti was born in Brescia, Italy. She received the bachelor’s degree in chemistry and pharmaceutical technology from the University of Milan, Milan, Italy, in 1993, and the Ph.D. degree in neuroscience from the University of Brescia in 1999. Over the past 15 years, she has focused on the early events occurring in periphery of Alzheimer’s disease, with the aim to identify biomarkers, as risk factors for the development of the disease. Since 2004, she has been an Assistant Professor (Researcher) with the Department of Molecular and Translational Medicine, University of Brescia, Brescia, Italy. She is the Co-Owner of two patents: “Method for early identification of Alzheimer’s Disease” (2003) 0001348902 and “Antibody binding a linear epitope of p53 and its diagnostic applications” PCT/EP2015/072094. She has authored or co-authored more than 60 peer-reviewed publications.
