Daniel Valderas

Daniel Valderas received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from Tecnun, University of Navarra, Donostia–San Sebastián, Spain, in 1998 and 2006, respectively. He was an Academic Visitor at Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, FL, USA, in 2003. He joined the Ceit Research Center, Donostia-San Sebastián, as a Research Scientist, and Tecnun as an Assistant Lecturer in 2006. He was a Visiting Researcher at Imperial College London, London, U.K., in 2007; at the Queen Mary University of London, London, in 2008; and at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge, MA, USA, in 2022. Since 2018, he has been an Associate Professor and a Research Scientist with Tecnun, University of Navarra. He has participated in many different research projects on the antenna and electromagnetics with practical background in electromagnetic simulation. He has authored eight book chapters and a number of journal articles and conference contributions. His research interests include UWB and broadband antennas, RFID and implanted antennas, and wireless chipless sensors and radar.
