Daniel Montero

Dr. Daniel Montero Vitores (Tarragona 1966) is a senior member of the Aquaculture Research Group of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC). He received his doctorate in Marine Sciences from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in 1996. He did post-doc stays at the US Fish & Wildlife Center, National Fish Lab in West Virginia, USA and at the Institute of Freswater Ecology, Windermere, UK. Later he joined as a post-doc researcher at the ULPGC. Researcher of the Spanish Institute of Oceanography in 2002, he won the Ramon y Cajal program in 2003 and joined the Canary Islands Institute of Marine Sciences of the Canary Islands Government.
