Research Interests
Our research emphasizes a strong link to societal needs and real-life environmental challenges. We strive to advance our fundamental knowledge and develop carbon-negative engineering solutions to actualize Carbon Neutrality and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We perform interdisciplinary and translational research in engineered systems, such as,
Value-added utilization of food waste, yard waste, agro-waste, manure, sludge, and CO2 emission
Sustainable and green remediation of hazardous waste and contaminated soil/sediment
Stormwater harvesting and industrial wastewater treatment for resilient water cycles
