Daniel now works as a senior researcher at the Research Institute for Soil and Water Conservation as head of the Remote sensing and pedometrics laboratory. As graduate from Czech University of Life Science at Department of Soil Science and Soil Protection with a PhD degree and graduate from Charles University in Prague with a master degree in Physical Geography, Daniel focused recently on using Remote Sensing and GIS methods in environment protection particularly in soil science.
