Her main research interests are: 1. Exploring dyadic interpersonal dynamics in psychotherapy, 2. Tracing the process and outcome of psychotherapy via advanced machine learning techniques. 3. Exploring intrapersonal and interpersonal processes in psychodynamic psychotherapy. 4. Advancing the ideal of greater integration between research and practice in the field of clinical psychology.
She is highly experienced in psychotherapy research and has received the outstanding early achievement award from the International Society for Psychotherapy Research. Her lab gathers large datasets of recorded psychotherapy sessions and analyzes them with advanced machine learning techniques with the aim of identifying the optimal interventions that lead to psychotherapy gains for the individual patient.
