个人简介
David Varodayan is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Information Networking Institute (INI) at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU). He has taught a wide variety of courses in computer architecture and systems, as well as mathematical foundations of computer science and machine learning. Earlier in his career, he taught circuits and signal processing.
Prior to joining CMU, David held academic appointments at Stanford University and University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. At UIUC, he was recognized with the George Anner Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching Award and the Engineering Council Outstanding Advising Award.
David grew up in Sydney, Australia, and spent his undergraduate years in Toronto. Besides a seven year stint in Champaign, Illinois, he has called the Bay Area home since 2003. David is based at CMU in Silicon Valley.
Interests: machine learning, image/video processing
