She is board-certified in general adult psychiatry, and consult-liaison psychiatry. Her clinical area of expertise is in the neuropsychiatric complications after traumatic brain injury. Her area of research interest focuses on the neurobiology of psychiatric symptoms after traumatic brain injury and the study of prognostic markers for neuropsychiatric sequelae after traumatic brain injury using functional neuroimaging techniques. Her educational interests focus on curricula teaching management of agitation in complex neurobehavioral syndromes in the acute medical hospital settings.
