Dr. Hoover’s applied research has covered infectious diseases, modeling/analysis of longitudinal data on disease, behavior and expenditures in large observational data sets. He has taught numerous statistics and epidemiology courses; been author or co-author of over 280 articles and chapters; been a co-investigator or principal investigator on over 60 grants; been an Associate/Statistical Editor of several journals; and peer reviewed for numerous journals and grant applications.
