D. E. Beutler

David E. Beutler received the Ph.D. degree in physics, specializing in the field of condensed-matter physics, from Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, in 1986. After receiving his Ph.D. degree, he has spent 23 years performing research in radiation effects at Sandia National Labs in Albuquerque, NM, where he is currently a Distinguished Member of the Technical Staff. Dr. Beutler has been actively involved in the radiation-effect community, having served as Session Chair for the IEEE Nuclear and Space Radiation Effects Conference (NSREC), a Presenter for a short course at NSREC, and authored or coauthored numerous publications in the IEEE Transactions on Nuclear Science.
