I have completed my PhD in Neurosciences (Bordeaux) and then joined UWA in 1993. My key research areas: 1) Animal emotional reactivity: relationship to behaviour, cognitive ability, and metabolic status, identification of genetic markers. 2) Neurodevelopment of the lambs: emotion reactivity, cognitive function, and regulation of food intake and growth. 3) Animal Welfare: thermoregulation and heat stress, stress physiology, physiological indicators.
