My research is focused mainly on the processing and interpretation of gravimetric, magnetic and geoid data and 2.5D and 3D modeling with potential fields of the Earth's lithospheric and cortical structure, with special focus on the continental margins and collision orogens. In addition, I am an expert in the semi-quantitative interpretation of potential field anomalies using various techniques (eg Euler deconvolution, gradient maps, study of alignments, isostatic anomalies, etc.), as a previous step before carrying out the modeling. My expertise in 2.5D and 3D modeling of potential fields, integrating all available geological and geophysical information (seismic reflection and refraction, magnetotelluric, seismic tomography, drillholes, etc.) has allowed me to characterize the geometry and physical properties of geological structures at different scales. At the lithosphere scale, I have studied the basins of the Western Mediterranean, Pyrenees, Urals, Möre and Vöring Basins in the North Atlantic, Zagros (Iran), Dominican Republic and Taiwan. Among the structures investigated at the scale of the upper crust are the Central Pyrenees, the Pyrite Belt, Ossa Morena, Linking Zone, Torre Bembibre Basin, Barbastro Anticline, Hontomin Anticline (for CO2 storage), etc. These studies include the geometric and petrophysical characterization of the basement, intrusive rocks, sedimentary basins, occurrence of mineral deposits, geological storage sites, etc.
