Clare is a longstanding member (and former elected trustee: 2014-2019) of the UK Association for the Study of Obesity; Europe's largest national obesity science organisation, and the UK's foremost charitable organisation dedicated to the understanding, prevention and treatment of obesity. She is also an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. Clare is actively involved in public engagement and has published a practical, evidence-based book for parents and caregivers about nutrition and feeding in the early years.
