个人简介
I am about to finish my PhD in software engineering at the Institute for Software Research in the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University. My advisor is Jonathan Aldrich, and my thesis work is on a static analysis to find misuses of complex protocols in software frameworks. My research goal is to improve the design and quality of component-based software systems through cost-effective techniques.
Great news!I will be starting a new job as an Assistant Professor at Cal Poly, Pomona this Winter quarter in the Computer Science Department.
Previously, I attended Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and received my Bachelor's of Science in Software Engineering from the Computer Science Department. The majority of my work experience is from Vizolutions.
Software engineer and researcher. I'm interested in using cost-effective methods to improve the design and quality of component-based software. My dissertation work is a specification system and static analysis to describe and detect violations of complex protocols between software frameworks and their plugins.
I'm also interested in software engineering education beyond basic programming skills. My research focus is on mastery of software design and architecture within the limited timeframe of an undergraduate curriculum.
