Bio

My main field of research is pain epidemiology with emphasis on the epidemiology of pain sensitivity. My research group has specialized in the application of quantitative sensory tests (QST) in large samples and have performed more than 30.000 such examinations. I currently coordinate the Horizon 2020 project PainFACT, which aims to identify molecular mechanisms underlying pain and pain comorbidity.
