Christopher Michael Loughrey

Christopher Loughrey is a veterinary surgeon and Principal Investigator within the Glasgow Cardiovascular Research Centre. His laboratory has expertise in a wide range of experimental techniques to investigate heart function at the level of the molecule, cell, organ and whole animal. This integrative approach provides the opportunity to study the pathophysiological mechanisms underlying heart disease and discover new translatable molecular targets with the capacity to improve patient health.
