I mainly work on the sedimentology and provenance studies of rocks, mainly of Quaternary to Triassic marine sediments. In cooperation with many international partners we decipher the paleoceanography of in particular the Arctic Ocean and Norwegian Greenland Sea by using mineral and chemical composition analysis. In my group I am also involved in the analysis of new materials.
