Our collaborative effort involves research on the ecto- and endoparasites of various vertebrates, particularly fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds of prey, and small mammals (shrews, bats). Taxonomic groups of parasites of interest are coccidians, myxozoans, and helminths, particularly monogeneans, digenetic trematodes and cestodes. We are also interested in the natural history and ecology of vertebrates of Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas to include work on their geographic distribution.
