Chih-Ping Yeh

Chih-Ping P Yeh (M'85, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in Electronic Engineering from Tam-Kung University, Taiwan, in 1976, the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University, College Station, TX, in 1982 and 1985 respectively. From 1985 to 1990 he worked as a senior system engineer for E-Systems, Inc. in Dallas, TX. Dr. Yeh joined the Division of Engineering Technology at Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan, in 1990. Currently he serves as the chairman of the division. His research interests include automotive electronics for hybrid electric vehicle controls, hybrid power systems, and applications of machine vision technology for autonomous vehicles.
