Chia Ai Ooi (Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering. She was one of the researchers on Energy Storage for Low Carbon Grids project funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), U.K. She is currently a Senior Lecturer with the Universiti Sains Malaysia. She conducts teaching and research in the areas of energy storage, power electronics, renewable energy, energy management, and power systems.
