Cheng Zhang received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in control science and engineering from the Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, in 2010 and 2012, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and electronics engineering from Queen's University Belfast, Belfast, U.K., in 2016. He is currently with the Warwick Manufacturing Group, University of Warwick, Coventry, U.K., as a Research Fellow. His research interests include battery management systems, battery modeling, and state estimation.
