Cheng-Kuang Liu

Cheng-Kuang Liu (M'98) received the B.S. degree from Tamkang University, Taipei, and the M.A. degree from Brooklyn College of the City University of New York, NY, in 1970 and 1977, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from the City University of New York in 1980. Since 1980, he has been with the Department of Electronic Engineering at the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (formerly, the National Taiwan Institute of Technology), Taipei, where he is currently a Professor. From 1987 to 1988, he was a Visiting Scholar with the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of South Florida, Tampa, FL, where he worked on device-noise measurement and radiation effects. His research interests include optoelectronic devices, optical amplifiers, sensors, device reliability, and electromagnetic compatibility.
