Charlotte R. Bennett

Charlotte R. Bennett received the B.Sc. (Hons.) degree from the University of Essex, U.K., in 1993, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Essex, U.K., in 1996, both in theoretical physics. She was a Research Fellows at the University of Essex and the University of York, where she was engaged in phonons, plasmons, and photonics in periodic media. In 2002, she joined QinetiQ Malvern, Great Malvern, U.K. Her current research interests include phonons, plasmons, and photonics in periodic media, and theoretical work on negative refractive index materials, metamaterials, photonic crystal fibers, and fiber lasers. Dr. Bennett is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Physics.
