As a passionate outdoors-man, I am always looking for an excuse to interact with the natural world and enhance my comprehension of how it works. This is reflected in my passion for field work and my preference for multidisciplinary approaches to the assessment of environmental effects on aquatic fauna. The complex nature of field studies sometimes makes clear conclusions difficult, but the effort is worthwhile and leads to a better understanding of the studied ecosystem.
