Charles E. Davidson

Charles Davidson received the Ph.D. degree in analytical chemistry (researching methods for the analysis of chemical data, a subset of chemistry commonly called chemometrics) from Clarkson University, Potsdam, NY, USA, in 2003. He has designed algorithms and software for clustering, pattern recognition, and classification of multivariate data with an emphasis on machine learning. He is currently a Research Scientist with Science and Technology Corporation (STC), where he focuses on remote sensing and standoff detection of chemical and biological materials. His research interests include signal processing, image analysis, probability theory, statistics, and detection theory.
