Changyong Zhang obtained his PhD degree under the supervision of Prof David Waite from UNSW, Sydney and now serves as a postdoctoral research fellow in the same University. Prior to join UNSW, he got his bachelor and master degree from Harbin Institue of Technology and Tsinghua University, China. His research interests mainly lies in electrochemical-based advanced technologies for water & wastewater treatment and resource recovery, including (i) capacitive deionization (CDI), (ii) electrochemical advanced oxidation processes (EAOP), (iii) bio-electrochemical systems (BES), etc.
