I am a bryologist and forest ecologist. My research interests range from bryophyte ecology and diversity to forest ecology and conservation of old-growth forests. I am particularly interested in ecological processes affecting forest functioning. I am currently investigating how temporal diversity trends of bryophytes and lichens repond to climatic trends in order to evaluate their reliability as indicators of climate changes.
