A research program in conservation of reef fishes and invertebrates in the Gulf of California and the Mexican Pacific regions: describing new species, genetic biodiversity, the ecology of rocky reef ecosystems, and assess the health status of reef ecosystems and their environmental services. Since 2018, leading a Biological and Social Sciences project to provide wellness alternatives to the fishing community as Nature Tourism.
