I am a 29-year experienced health economist (https://orcid.org/0000-0003-4795-1834) who runs his own firm (Studio di Economia Sanitaria, Milan, Italy - Ringgold ID 612130) that I founded in 1994. My main professional and research interest lies in the economic evaluation of health care programmes, which is the core business of the Studio di Economia Sanitaria. The Studio di Economia Sanitaria also supports pharmaceuticals in mock and real world negotiations with The Italian Medicines Agency (AIFA). About 14 years ago I have developed a growing side-interest in statistics concerning health economics (including biostatistics, health econometrics and multiple imputation of missing data). This still ongoing learning experience has widened the services that the Studio di Economia Sanitaria can offer to its clients in Italy and abroad. I am a 14-year experienced regular Stata user (mainly for regressions, panel data econometrics, mixed models and multiple imputation of missing values in databases) and contributor to the Stata forum (https://www.statalist.org/forums/member/273-carlo-lazzaro). From early '90s to 2003 I've been non-resident research fellow with the Centre for Researches on Healthcare Management (CeRGAS), “ Luigi Bocconi ” University, Milan, Italy (Director Prof. Elio Borgonovi, who supervised my dissertation "New organizational patterns for delivering healthcare services within the Italian NHS." together with Dott. Paolo Rotondi). I still have good friends and inspiring colleagues there. Since 2004 I've been serving as faculty member (Appointed Professor of Health Economics and Pharmacoeconomics) with the post-graduated two-year, II^ level master “Discipline Regolatorie G. Benzi” for Regulatory Affairs professionals, Biology and Biotechnologies Department “Lazzaro Spallanzani”, University of Pavia, Italy. During 2012-2013, I gave lessons on the economic evaluation of health care programmes at the Free University "Carlo Cattaneo", Castellanza (Italy) and the University of Eastern Piedmont, School of Pharmacology, Novara (Italy).
