Colin Kelsey was born in Newry, Northern Ireland, in 1987. He received the B.Sc. degree in applied mathematics and physics, the M.Sc. degree in plasma physics, and the Ph.D. degree in plasma physics from Queens University Belfast in 2009, 2010, and 2014, respectively. He was working as a Design Engineer with the Biodevices Laboratory, Nanotechnology and Integrated Bioengineering Centre, Ulster University (Jordanstown Campus). His research interests include multiphysics modeling and experimental imaging applied to the development and characterization of biomedical devices.
