Dr C. Ningappa currently works at the Department of Physics, Vidya Vikas Institute of Engineering and Technology, Mysuru as Professor and Head. Dr C Ningappa does research in Nuclear Physics and Materials Science. He has authored more than 5 books related to Science and Physics. He is actively involving in theatre activities, social services etc.,. He has served as BOE, VTU, Executive Member of ISRP, NTSI, and other professional bodies. He has successfully organised many events at National level in association with reputed national Institutes; 20th National Conference on Solid State Nuclear Track Detectors and Their Applications (SSNTDs-20; Sponsored by BRNS, AERB); 65th Refresher Course in Experimental Physics (Indian Academy of Science) etc.,
