I'm a post-doctoral researcher at the York Plasma Institute working with Chris Ridgers on using high intensity laser pulses to explore QED effects. We're currently working on all-optical radiation reaction experiments, colliding an intense laser pulse with a beam of electrons produced by a laser wakefield accelerator. My PhD was with Simon Hooker's group in Oxford, studying new techniques for laser wakefield acceleration at high repetition rates and low plasma densities.
