The majority of my day-to-day activities involves working with UW-Madison students in the WiscAr Laboratory to help them design experiments and collect data for their projects. The training extends beyond the laboratory as I also help students synthesize their data and interpretations into a senior/MS thesis or dissertations. This often involves continued mentorship over many months to years to help students hone writing skills and become effective oral communicators for departmental or professional presentations. The advising and mentoring of students extends to collaborating partners and their students who use the WiscAr facility and who I also provide direct training over extended periods of time.
