He directs the Body MRI research group, and co-directs the IMMERS lab which applies mixed-reality visualization to medical applications. Current specific projects include non-contrast breast MRI screening, rapid quantitative knee MRI, and improved MRI near metallic implants, as well as interventional guidance for breast and orthopedic surgery. In addition to research, Dr. Hargreaves teaches two graduate level courses, and lectures in numerous other courses at Stanford.
