Brian A. Larsen

Brian A. Larsen received a B.S. in physics and mathematics from Linfield University and M.S. and Ph.D. in physics from Montana State University in the Space Science and Engineer Laboratory (SSEL) working on small satellites. He joined Los Alamos National Laboratory in 2010. He has >20 years of space instrumentation and analysis experience including NASA’s IMAGE, LRO, IBEX, Van Allen Probes, IMAP and NSF’s FIREBIRD and FIREBIRD-II missions and national security missions. He currently serves as the Chief Scientist for Neutron, Gamma-ray, and particle sensing for nuclear detonation treaty monitoring at Los Alamos.
