My research topics include: 1) Investigate the stability conditions of the interval type-2 polynomial-fuzzy-model-based (IT2 PFMB) control systems. 2) Improve the performance of the IT2 PFMB tracking control systems in terms of H-infinity index. 3) Investigate the digital application of the IT2 PFMB control systems. 4) Analysis the EEG and EMG signals, extract their features and classify the data using different kinds of artificial neural networks (ANN), support vector machine (SVM) and fuzzy support vector machine (FSVM). 5) Analysis the data from the force sensor on the robotic manipulator and classify the data through machine learning techniques. 6) Design type-1 and interval type-2 fuzzy PID controllers for autonomous anesthesia and optimize the controllers through genetic algorithms (GA). 7) Apply deep learning algorithms to the image classification problem.
